This time we would like to present you the Vagliendola area that was a Byzantine settlement during the XI century. This south-western neighbourhood of Amalfi is among the most amazing, because the houses have been built one above the other; infact the district grows in height and, after climbing some not-steep steps, the silence, the vision of the sea and its voice will surprise you. This neighborhood has tower houses and palaces dating back to the Middle Ages.
